Software Description
This is a remake of Super Mario 64 made in Unity using C#, but made in about 4 weeks of time for a school project. This game was made purely for fun and with love for the original game, I was not trying to make a full and polished remake with intent of having people playing this instead of the original. I remade the outside of the castle, a bit of the inside of the castle, and bob omb battlefield. Most models were ripped from the original game, but the animations were made by myself, because I could not find the original animations and mixamo animations didn't feel right with capturing the spirit of the original. What I made: - Player movement, attacks, animations, interactions etc - Scriptable Object based dialogue system that connects a dialogue sequence to the textbox, and spawns them accordingly - Scriptable Object based star system - GameManager script that handles the state of the game, star selection and loading the level accordingly based on the star that is selected. - Base enemy script that enemies could be built off of - Boss fight with King Bob Omb - Race with Koopa The Quick - Scene transitions - Cutscene system - Billboarded sprites
